Designed specifically for Ford's twin-turbo PowerBoost hybrid powertrain, this system delivers dyno-proven gains of up to 17 horsepower and 24 lb-ft of torque while flowing up to 39% more air than the factory intake. The oil-free Pro DRY S filter eliminates the need for filter oil while remaining washable and reusable, making this an excellent performance upgrade for a daily-driven truck.
The massive 9-inch tall, 360-degree radial-flow Pro DRY S filter uses three layers of progressively finer synthetic media for excellent filtration and dust-holding capacity. Because the filter requires no oil, routine maintenance is simple and clean. Its inverted top increases usable filter surface area for improved airflow and longer service intervals.
The smooth one-piece sealed housing is constructed from heat-resistant cross-linked polyethylene and incorporates the factory hood inlet scoop and grille air inlet. A silicone inlet seal mates the housing to the hood to help prevent unwanted hot engine-compartment air from entering the intake. A large clear sight window allows easy filter inspection without taking the system apart.
The computer-designed and dyno-tuned XLPE intake tube provides a smooth, heat-resistant path for incoming air while maintaining proper vehicle-specific fitment. Premium stainless-steel clamps and silicone couplings provide secure connections and durability, and the system installs without requiring ECU tuning.
