This K&N NextGen cold air intake system is engineered for your Ford Ranger 2.7L V6. A high-density polyethylene rotationally molded tube helps increase airflow to your engine and provides an estimated gain of up to 14.6 horsepower and 25.4 lb-ft of torque with no tuning required. The system includes a washable, reusable K&N High-Flow air filter with oiled cotton filter media. The oversized conical filter design increases surface area for improved airflow and can go up to 100,000 miles between cleanings under normal highway driving conditions. A custom NextGen air box helps protect intake air from engine bay heat while improving airflow and filtration performance. This intake is designed for a straightforward installation and can typically be installed in less than 60 minutes.
