Upgrade your LLY Duramax with the aFe Momentum HD Cold Air Intake for substantially increased airflow, added horsepower and torque, and easy filter maintenance. This system delivers dyno-proven gains of up to 19 horsepower and 33 lb-ft of torque while flowing up to 43% more air than the factory intake. The massive oil-free Pro DRY S filter, sealed housing, and dyno-tuned intake tube provide a less restrictive path to the turbo while maintaining excellent filtration and a clean, direct-fit installation.
The massive 360-degree radial-flow Pro DRY S air filter uses three layers of progressively finer synthetic media and provides 99.2% cumulative filtration efficiency. The filter requires no oil and is washable and reusable, making routine maintenance simple and clean. Reinforced metal around the filter provides additional strength and helps prevent filter collapse.
The smooth one-piece sealed housing helps isolate the filter from hot engine-compartment air and incorporates an auxiliary air scoop to increase incoming airflow. A urethane plug is included so the auxiliary opening can be closed for extreme driving conditions. A large clear sight window allows the filter to be inspected without removing the housing.
A CAD-designed and dyno-tuned roto-molded intake tube provides a smooth path for incoming air while maintaining proper vehicle-specific fitment. Premium stainless-steel T-bolt clamps and a reinforced silicone coupling at the turbo inlet provide secure, durable connections. The system is designed with fewer components for a straightforward installation without cutting or drilling.
