Upgrade your 5.0L F-150 with improved airflow, more power, and a more aggressive induction sound. The aFe POWER Rapid Induction system is dyno-tested to deliver gains of up to 14 horsepower while flowing up to 57% more air than the factory intake.
The included Pro 5R performance filter uses five layers of progressively finer cotton gauze media for maximum airflow. The filter is pre-oiled, washable, and reusable, making it an excellent choice for street-driven and performance applications.
A computer-designed, dyno-tuned XLPE intake tube provides a smooth path for incoming air while resisting heat soak. The powder-coated one-piece heat shield mounts to the lower half of the factory airbox using factory mounting locations for a clean, secure installation.
The large 360-degree radial-flow filter measures 5-3/4 inches tall with a 5-1/2-inch flange. Its inverted top increases usable filter surface area to help improve airflow and extend service intervals.
Installation is a direct bolt-on using factory mounting locations with no cutting or drilling required. No ECU tuning is required.
