Give your 5.0L F-150 more airflow and performance without the maintenance of an oiled air filter with the aFe Momentum XP Cold Air Intake. This system combines dual mandrel-bent aluminum intake tubes, a large dual-inlet Pro DRY S performance filter, and a sealed roto-molded housing to provide a less restrictive path for incoming air. The oil-free Pro DRY S media is washable and reusable, making this version an excellent choice for a daily-driven truck where easy maintenance and excellent filtration are priorities.
The large dual-inlet Pro DRY S air filter uses three layers of progressively finer synthetic media for excellent filtration and dust-holding capacity. Because the filter requires no oil, servicing is clean and simple. The filter is washable and reusable for multiple service cycles, eliminating the need to replace a disposable factory-style filter at every service interval.
Dual 3-inch mandrel-bent aluminum intake tubes provide a smooth, free-flowing path from the filter toward the throttle body. A reinforced silicone coupling merges the two intake tubes into a single throttle-body connection. The aluminum construction provides excellent durability while giving the intake system a high-quality performance appearance.
The one-piece roto-molded housing is manufactured from heat-resistant cross-linked polyethylene and helps isolate the filter from hot engine-compartment air while capturing incoming air from the front of the truck. A clear sight window allows the filter to be inspected without removing the housing, and the system utilizes factory mounting locations for a straightforward installation.
