What is Stacking?
Stacking is the use of an inline programming device which remaps fuel curves and fuel pressure in diesel engines and a programmer which reprograms the PCM of the vehicle through the diagnostics port. The DiabloSport PowerPuck is an example of an inline device the DiabloSport Predator is an example of a programmer

How the Stack Works?
The Predator Puck installation takes a total of about 25 minutes. Simply install the PowerPuck under the hood connecting it to the fuel rail pressure sensor and the MAP sensor with its factory interlock connectors. Then run the toggle switch through the vehicles firewall to have the switch on the fly ability on the puck. Finally, install the DiabloSport Predators Puck Tune and DRIVE!

PowerPuck installs in nine easy steps and in less than an 10 minutes, no wires to cut, no seals will be broken.

PowerPuck is designed to put no additional strain on the Diesel injection pump. The rotary VP44 injection pump in the 24v Cummins has a preset electronic limit to the amount of fuel it will deliver. Since the PowerPuck is plugged in between the ECU and injection pump, the PowerPuck is programmed to never exceed that limit

2003 - Current PowerPuck has a 3 position switch that allows changing between stock, 60HP, and 90HP settings on the fly.

Predators Puck Tune allows for no nonsense No guess stacking.

What is the Diablosport Predator?

The Predator is a state-of-the art, high performance tuning flash programmer in a sleek handheld design. Once connected to the vehicle, the Predators internal computer recognizes the vehicles PCM and automatically picks the proper tuning files designed specifically for that PCM. Inside the Predator's memory are the actual tuning files that optimize spark timing and air/fuel ratio curves. The transmission parameters are remapped to improve the shift characteristics such as shift firmness and shift points. Unlike other 'tuners', DiabloSport's programming is performed in very small increments throughout the entire RPM range, for a smoother, wider and a more predictable power delivery. DiabloSport engineers spend many hours on the dyno, street and track to ensure the tunes provided with the Predator are the best they can be.

The Predator was created with one thing in mind, POWER!

Average power gains are in the 15-20 RWHP range. The Predators additional power makes itself noticeable immediately with an increase in power that starts in the low RPMs and builds into a frenzy at the high RPMs.

A Predator equipped vehicle will notice significant improvements in drivability. The additional power and improved shift patterns created by the Predator tune will yield quicker acceleration and better mileage, whether it is in town or out on the highway.

The power increase in the lower RPMs will yield a better throttle response. The increase in MPG is a byproduct of maximized engine efficiency, the improved timing curve and air/fuel ratio creates a more complete combustion, i.e. the engine extracts more power from each molecule of gasoline.
